today our group had decided on a final idea for our stop motion,David and Jane have started on the story boards, while the rest of us had a look at music and images, the images are for ideas to use for our models and our back grounds.eg. i was looking at football tops, big jackets for the models, on Monday we are going to start making our models for the project. we have got till the 29th of January to finish our project on racism.

Drawn animation
drawn animation is drawings just one after another but slightly different from the other. drawn animation is made up by thousands of different drawings and just played quickly one right after another.
cut-out animation
cut-out animation is any form of animation where cut out shapes are just moved around to the way you want them or replaced by other cut-outs.
Model animation or stop motion animation
this is filmed by using puppets, clay models, plasticine or even wire. the models are positioned to the way the are to be used in the film and filmed then repositioned and then filmed and just done over and over till the animation is done.
Computer animation
computer animation is drawings of three dimensional models and then put on to a computer. these can be put on to a computer by scanning the images. the wired framed models are scanned in to the computer as wire frame models but can be built up to the way you want them designed.
Computer generated imagery (CGI)
this is all done on the computer and very similer to computer animation.

these are two photo sharing sites that are quit similer but i would say that flickr is a lot better to use as it has more photos and more things to do like crop,edit and fix your pictures,share and stay in touch. you can also upload videos on flickr. there is also a few good points about picasa as you can still upload your pictures and share them to. flickr is just alot more up to date.

shortcut to grab
A quick alternative to using Grab is to use your keyboard shortcuts. This gives you less control, though is much quicker and easier.
Hold down the Command+Shift+4 buttons and then the Space Bar will let you capture things like a window, widget, menu or icon and save it as a file to your desktop.

video sharing
these two sites YouTube and Vidlife are almost the same as they both lit you up load and share videos. youtube is much better than vidlife as youtube has more views and a bigger range of videos.
text formating
These two text sharing web sites Blogger and Friend Paste are quit similar as the both lit you up load your text and choose your own coulor of template. i would say that blogger is much better as it lits you have a password and its more safe to use, its probaly more commonly used.

Today we filled out a web content progress sheet to see how we are getting on with our research and what we have done for our web content and what we still have to do for our website. Today we also looked for images,sound and videos for our web site. we also discussed what we would write on our site.

Today we researched for our EPK's. we also talked about what we are going to do for our EPK's and what roles we would all do like who would be the researcher, editor and the designer.

Today we learned how to use iweb and how to add pictures to iweb from google images we also got told how to edit the text and change the formats of the web page to how we wanted it. today we also looked at photo sharing on the Internet we had to look at different photo sharing web pages to see what one was the best by quality, easy to work and the most interesting.
